The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) of Northwest Colorado, serving Garfield, Mesa, Moffat and Rio Blanco Counties, is dedicated to supporting older adults and their caregivers in maintaining independence and quality of life. Established under the Older Americans Act, the AAA offers contracts for services such as Meals-on-Wheels, homemaker assistance, and options counseling to help older adults remain in their homes. They also provide access to legal services, health promotion programs, and transportation assistance. By partnering with public and private organizations, the AAA ensures that older individuals can choose the services and living arrangements that best suit their needs.
